The Port Robinson, ON location is seeking to fill the role of a Production Welder to join the team.
Please note that should union membership not already be held by the successful candidate, they will be required to become a member of the applicable Local prior to the commencement of work.
Summary of the Role
This position is for a Production Welder.
Key Responsibilities
- Weld joints in accordance with ASME and or CWB weld procedures under the direction of full oversite of E.S. Fox Limited. Weld Supervision.
- Welding assignments may vary between primarily carbon or stainless steels using the welding processes and positions listed below.
- Participate in job specific training relating to welding processes and techniques.
Key Requirements, Experience and Skills
- Post-secondary education is an asset, whether welding-related or otherwise.
- Experience with the following processes: Flux core gas shielded (FCAW) on carbon and or stainless steel, Gas Metal Arc Welding /MIG (GMAW) on carbon and or stainless steel.
- Experience with other processes listed are considered an asset but not required: Air carbon arc gouging, Oxy fuel cutting processes, Plasma arc cutting processe, Submerged arc welding (SAW) on carbon and stainless steel, Weld automation such as burning bugs, booms, gantries etc.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
